they always said things would get better. believe them, they're right. It all fades, it all fades eventually. You need to want things to get better, and life is never perfect. life. america was incredible. I love my family. I love that country. I wish I'd got to know them sooner. I feel as if I'm living in the wrong place with the wrong people. I want my flesh and blood relatives around me and I want high fructose corn syrup and interstate highways. School is easier than expected. Dealing with the past is coming a lot more naturally than I would have thought. I'm still getting criticised for it, though. People decide to leave me all too often because of past actions or ways that they've suddenly taking some delayed offence to. I can't wait for college, I can't wait to get out. I've met two remarkable people.

For once it actually feels different. In a good way! My resolutions are failing miserably, but fuck that. This year all I want to do is be happy. I'm feeling happier, more self-assured than I ever have. I'm excited for this. I'm excited for something new. so far, so damn good. America in 8 days, well fuckyeah.
